Touch no working after replacement
Every car is an independent individual, so we may encounter different problems in the replacement process, please keep patient to find the cause and corresponding solutions.

The screen does not work and touch no response after Replace NEW CUE Screen
1）The inner film of the screen is not torn off, please take off the film.
2）The new ribbon cable is not fully inserted or plugged in the wrong way/direction, please make sure insert the new ribbon cable all the way in (Black side up,gold pins down), and it must be locked with the clip.
3) If your Cadillac car was manufactured in 2018,2019 or 2020, After checking the above steps, if the new screen still doesn’t work. Firstly the CUE system unit needs to be connected normally with all the cables in the car and turn on the engine (you had better connect the video cable firstly, then connect the power cable), then turn off the engine of your car, get off the car and close the door, and lock the car. After 15 minutes, restart the car and restart the cue system, then test the new screen. This situation maybe encountered during the test or after installation.
The reason: the CUE system in 2018 or 2019 has its own protection function. If the car is not turned off and disassembled, the protection function will be activated, so that the system cannot be used. So if this happens, it should be dealt with as above.
4) Cue system Human Machine Interface Module locked (All years models may encounter) may cause the screen no response after replacement( it may freeze accidentally and cause the screen no response).
Solution: Firstly the CUE system unit needs to be connected normally with all the cables in the car and then the car ignites, but not start the car. Then open the cover of storage box(CUE panel) , keep the cue panel up always, then turn off your car and get off the car. Meantime Keep the driver side's door open and wait about 2 minutes.After that close the door and restart the car. And close the cover /cue panel of the storage and test the new screen.
5) After checking the above steps, the screen still can't work, please check whether your car is equipped with added non-original equipment in Cue system, such as reversing image, added radar and other non-original equipment. These additional devices may cause the screen can’t work, the problem of touch jumping randomly, the solution is disconnect the power of the installed non-original equipment firstly, restart the car ,then follow the correct way to replace and test if the screen can work. After dealing with the screen problem , then plug back those non-original equipment.(If your car doesn't have non-original equipment , you can skip this step)
The rare special situation we encountered when we replaced the new screen offline was: some customers’ Cadillac were equipped with reversing video equipment, but because the installed reversing video decoder was broken, the entire system could not be touched, Random touches or automatically operating itself and other issues. This situation is very rare, but it is possible to encounter such situations.
6) The new screen cable may be torn when it was removed or installed. These cracks may be small but can affect the touch function. But please follow above steps to check for other possible problems first. If it is caused by other problems, the same problem may occur when replacing the new screen.
7) If the cable Connector damaged or the locking clip broken, it also will cause the screen touch no response.This solution is replacing the damaged parts or replace the cue system unit
